Our season is in full swing! The course has been challenging with all of the rain we have received. We’ve been particularly lucky not to have had any rain cancellations in the month of May.
The Golfer of the Month for May: 18-Hole Division - Brenda Lammers with a net 73; 9-Hole Division - Dawn Lammert with a net 35. Congratulations Brenda and Dawn!!!!
Mark your calendars for the Ladies League Member Guest Tournament Luncheon on
Tuesday, June 17th. The theme this year is “Par-Tee in the 80’s”. Registration and
breakfast begin at 7:00a.m., followed by an 8:00a.m. shotgun start. The luncheon and
awards will follow golf. The cost is $90 per person, payable to Bogey Hills Ladies
Member Guest and deliverable to Pat Senft Wessel. You can also Venmo

The annual Bogey Hills Breast Cancer Awareness Golf Outing and Luncheon will be
held on Tuesday, July 22nd. You can access the event information under the
Breast Cancer Awareness tab in the Bogey Breeze for more details. Sponsor Forms are

The Golf Kick Off was held on April 27th. Congratulations to League members Amy
Palmatier and Natalie Rohlfing (and teammates Dan Palmatier and Reed Rohlfing)
on winning 2 skins. Also winning a skin was League member Linda O’Donnell (and
teammates Dan O’Donnell, Debbie King and Ron King).
The President and 1st Lady was held on May 18th. League members finishing in the money: Brenda Lammers/partner Kerry Scheibler placed 6th and Jesse Kielty/partner Todd Bullock placed 7th. Julee Wisor and partner Neil Whipple won a skin with an Eagle on 16.
The Senior Club Championship registration is now open to golfing members ages 55 and older. This tournament will be held on June 7th and 8th. We hope to see many League members participate in this event.
The first Interclub event took place on May 20th at Forest Hills Country Club. League Members Dana Snider, Jeanne Liston, Amy Palmatier, Tammy Westhues, Cherie Finn, Nancy Jeffrey, and MJ Shelley participated. Amy Palmatier won closest to the pin. MJ Shelley and her team won first place in their flight. Cherie Finn and her team tied for second place in their flight but lost in a score card playoff. The next Interclub event is on Friday, July 11th at Sunset Country Club. Watch for information on the bulletin board in the Ladies Locker Room. Interclub is a wonderful opportunity to play other St. Louis Women’s District courses without meeting any handicap requirement.
In District news, we had two Team events in May. The teams of Brenda Lammers/Sarah Sharpe, Carla VanMeter/Julie Baker, and Jean Bennett/Lynette Zuch played at Norwood Country Club on a rainy day. We were pleased with our first place finish in both gross and net team play standings in our division. In our second event, the teams of Brenda Lammers/Sarah Sharpe, Carla VanMeter/Julie Baker, and Lynette Zuch/Gail Walters played at St. Louis Country Club. It was a windy and challenging day. Our total points now place us second by a 1/2 point in the gross team play standings and second by 2 1/2 points in the net team standings, putting us in a very good position.
